The Anchorage is home for many of our residents and we extend our hospitality. In exchange we ask our guests to respect our homes and abide by The Anchorage rules and regulations. By making a reservation, you are agreeing to the rental terms and conditions for staying at The Anchorage Yacht & Tennis Club.

The minimum age of primary guest (Renter) staying in the unit is 25
The rental agreement must be signed by a primary guest (hereafter referred to as Renter) who is staying in the unit and meets the minimum age requirement. Renter will provide a photo ID to verify minimum age during check in. The primary guest will be provided with the Rules and Regulations of the Anchorage Yacht and Tennis Club upon check-in. All guests staying in the unit with the primary guest must read and abide by these rules and regulations during their stay.
Deposits & Payments
A $500 reservation deposit is required to hold a unit. Upon check in $500 of the reservation deposit will serve as the refundable security deposit. Payment can be in the form of a Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or check. Payments by check must be received within 5 business days or the reservation hold is subject to cancellation.
A payment equal to 50% of the reservation is due 60 days prior to check in.
Final payment of the remaining balance is due 30 days prior to check in.
A fee of $35.00 will be charged for all returned checks
Security Deposit & Damage
The Renter agrees that $ 500 of the reservation deposit will be used as a refundable security deposit. Release of the security deposit shall be subject to inspection of the rental property and will be returned within 30 days of departure provided there is no damage or additional charges. Renter hereby authorizes The Anchorage Yacht and Tennis Club to deduct from the security deposit the cost of additional telephone charges, movie rentals, extra cleaning, all damage, breakage and/or loss incurred during the stay. In the event of damage to the premises, its equipment, furniture, or carpeting, Renter shall be responsible for damage costs exceeding the security deposit, including collection costs and attorney fees. Documentation detailing damages and charges will be provided to the guest.
Cancellation & Refunds Policy: In the event of a cancellation by the Renter, a written notice must be received by the Anchorage Rental Office.
- Cancellation notices received within 72 hours of booking. The Renter will receive a full refund.
- Cancellation notices received more than 60 days prior to check in: The Renter forfeits their full reservation deposit.
- Cancellation notices received 30-60 days prior to check in: The Renter will forfeit all funds received less the reservation deposit with forfeiture being a minimum of 50% of reservation total.
- Cancellation notices received within 30 days prior to check in: All funds paid will be held for forfeiture. The amount of forfeiture will be calculated by the rental rate for the number of days the unit was not re-rented during the full number of days of the original reservation with a minimum charge equal to the reservation deposit.
- Reductions of 7 or more days of a reservation will follow the cancellation policies above applied to the cancelled time period only.
COVID Policy: (If Applicable) A full refund will be issued if the Renter wishes to cancel the reservation due to COVID travel restrictions in effect during the reservation period. In the written notice of cancellation, please indicate which travel restrictions are impacting your stay.
If the designated rental unit is not available for any reason, guests shall not hold The Anchorage Yacht and Tennis Club liable. In such an instance, guests will be relocated to comparable accommodations determined by The Anchorage Rental Office. If comparable accommodation is not available, the Renter will receive a full refund.
Although each property will be completely equipped for rental purposes, we cannot accept responsibility for aesthetic conflicts. We reserve the right to change units for any reason necessary to ensure a great guest experience. The Anchorage Yacht and Tennis Club is not responsible for events beyond our control, e.g. inclement weather or maintenance issues.
Check-In / Check-Out
Upon receipt of your final payment, your Reservation Confirmation will be mailed or emailed to you. Enclosed will be the address, phone numbers, and instructions for accessing your unit if you arrive when the Rental Office is closed.
Check-In is at 4:00 PM
Upon arrival, the Renter must check in with the Rental Office to receive the keys and parking pass. If you arrive when the Rental Office is closed, please check in with the Rental Office at your earliest convenience the next day the office is open after arrival. Guests who arrive when the Rental Office is closed will find their arrival packages in our lock box next to the main entrance door. A code will be provided to you prior to your arrival and keys will be in an envelope marked with your name and unit number.
Check-Out is at 10:00 AM.
Renters entire party must vacate the property and return the keys to the office no later than 10:00 am. Failure to check out on time could result in a $150 late fee which will be deducted from the security deposit. The charge for lost keys is $50 which will be deducted from the security deposit.
Lock Outs
If for any reason a guest is locked out of their condo, a service charge of $100 will be collected from the guest at the time service was rendered.
Home & Condo Equipment
The Anchorage condos are privately owned and equipped for basic vacation needs. Linens and towels are provided in each condo. We also provide our Guests with starting paper products, trash bags, and soap. Once these items are consumed, it is up to each Renter to provide their own consumables for their length of stay.
Maintenance issues in the condo will be handled in a timely and professional manner. The rental rate will not be adjusted due to any malfunction of equipment, which includes TV’s, VCR’s, DVD’s, air condition units, hot water heaters, stoves, refrigerators, door locks, etc.
Maximum Occupancy
Each property has a specific maximum occupancy which is generally 6 for a two-bedroom condo and 8 for a three bedroom condo. Take note of the maximum number of guests allowed in the condo before making a reservation. This policy is strictly enforced. Violators risk forfeiture of their security deposit, rental fees, and eviction.
Gatherings
Parties and other large gatherings are not allowed. This policy is strictly enforced. Violators risk forfeiture of their security deposit, rental fees, and eviction.
No Smoking
All condos are Non-Smoking. This policy is strictly enforced. Violators will be charged a $300 cleaning/recovery fee which will be deducted from the security deposit.
Pet Policy
No Pets of any kind are allowed in the building. This policy is strictly enforced. Violators will be charged a $300 fee which will be deducted from the security deposit.
Cleaning
Renter agrees to pay the cleaning fee for the unit. Renter agrees to maintain the cleanliness of the premises during the occupancy and to leave the premises in good condition upon departure. Additional cleaning charge will be deducted from the security deposit if excessive cleaning is required.
Parking
Complimentary parking is available to guests. Parking passes are obtained during check in and must be prominently displayed on the vehicle. Vehicles without a parking pass are subject to being towed at the owner’s expense.
Security and Safety
Guests agree to comply with security and safety policies of The Anchorage Yacht & Tennis Club that are in effect during their stay.
Marketing and Communications Permissions
Your email will be used to send periodic newsletters, promotions, and other information relating to marketing and communications. At any time, you may unsubscribe from these communications using the link at the bottom of emails or contact us directly.
Additional Provisions
The Anchorage rental agent may enter the premises at any time in the event of an emergency, but will use best efforts to give 24-hour notice for normal maintenance or inspections.
Disclaimer The Renter agrees that The Anchorage Yacht and Tennis Club shall not be liable to Renter, Renter’s guests, invitees or any other person for any injury, loss or damage to any person or property on or about the rental premises. Renter shall hold The Anchorage Yacht and Tennis Club harmless and indemnified from and against all loss or damage occasioned by use, misuses or abuse of any part of or fixture on the premises, surrounding areas and from or against any omission, neglect, or default of the Renter, his/her guests or invitees. The Renter acknowledges that The Anchorage Yacht and Tennis Club acting solely in the capacity of Agent for the property owner, assumes no liability thereunder.
